Kruger National Park

The Kruger National Park covers nearly 20,000 sq kms and is unparalleled in its richness of animal life, reptiles, and prolific bird life. It offers a wide range of accommodation in the form of rondavels and self-contained chalets with some camps with upmarket accommodation. The larger camps have an excellent range of facilities including licensed restaurant, swimming pools, and shops selling curios. Game viewing in the park is on either a guided tour or self-drive and is always on-roads. The eco-system within the park is maintained to its natural and glorious state. NB: Game viewing is excellent all year round, but is ideal during South African winter (May-August). This is a dry season and animals roam around seeking water from boreholes and, therefore, can be spotted more easily as the grass is shorter.
