Day 1:

This morning we travel via Du Toit’s Kloof Pass to Worcester and traverse the famous Route 62 and via Robertson on to Oudtshoorn. In the afternoon visit the Cango Caves for a fully guided tour. Return to the your hotel for a hearty dinner. Overnight Rosenhof Country House (5 star) or similar (Dinner, bed and breakfast).

Day 2:

After breakfast, visit a local ostrich farm for a guided tour. Time permitting, an optional extra tour of the Crocodile and Cheetah Park. Depart Oudtshoorn and continue over the Outeniqua Pass to George and to Plettenberg Bay, the ‘millionaire’s playground’ traveling via the Wilderness and Knysna. Overnight at the 4star Whalesong Costal Lodge or similar (Dinner, bed and breakfast)

Day 3:

This morning, we travel through the Tsitsikamma Forest area visiting the Big Tree and the Garden of Eden. Stop at Storms River Bridge – the world’s highest ‘bungee jump’. Continue to Port Elizabeth and on to the malaria-free luxurious, Shamwari Private Game Reserve. An afternoon open-vehicle game drive accompanied by a knowledgeable and trained ranger. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight (Full Board + 2 game viewing activities.(Longlee Manor luxury room, Bushmans River Lodge, Riverdene Lodge or Bayethe) 5 star

Day 4

After an early morning drive and a sumptuous breakfast, we leave Shamwari and head back to the Garden Route via Port Elizabeth. Enjoy the spectacular scenery as we cross the Storms River Bridge, the site of the world’s highest bungee jump on to George via Plettenberg Bay, Knysna and Wilderness. Stay two nights at Fancourt Hotel and Country Club Estate. 5star Its golfing amenities are truly first-class and renowned for their amazing year round condition. These include the Montagu, Outeniqua and Bramble Hill courses, as well as The Links. World-class practice facilities are available at its Golf Academy. Four tennis courts, four swimming pools, supplement these exceptional golf amenities a Health Spa, a gymnasium with heated Roman Bath (Bed + breakfast)

Day 5:

At leisure, playing golf or enjoying Fancourt’s excellent sporting facilities (Bed + Breakfast) 5 star

Day 6:

After breakfast we depart George and travel back to Cape Town arriving in the afternoon.
